Developers can see properties for a constraint in the Properties window from Object Explorer, Database Diagram Designer, or Table Designer. When Developers working with SQL Server “Denali”, MS SQL Server 2008 R2 and MS SQL Server 2005 want to see constraint properties, they should follow the next steps:
1. Select the column to which the constraint applies in Object Explorer, Database Diagram Designer, or Table Designer.
2. From the View menu, click Properties Window.
3. Use the dropdown list at the top of the Properties window to navigate down to the object they want. Navigate back up to the parent object and back down to see the properties of a different object.
The properties for the constraint are now visible in the Properties window.
