Developers can add a table to their database diagram to edit its structure or relate it to other tables in their diagram.. When Developers working with SQL Server “Denali”, MS SQL Server 2008 R2 and MS SQL Server 2005 want to add an existing table to a diagram, they should follow the next steps:
1. Make sure they are connected to the database whose tables they want to edit.
2. Select a table in the Tables folder.
3. Drag the table into their database diagram.
4. Release the mouse button.
If relationships exist between the selected table and other tables in their diagram, relationship lines are automatically drawn.
